I wouldn't mind gathering together a list of networks which have the option to be paid out via Paypal.

The only one I really know about which does this is Maxbounty.

So if you guys are using an affiliate network which has a paypal payout option could you do me a favor and post them here.

Thanks.

I know A4D had a paypal box in the account setting, but one of the account rep says they don't pay out to paypal just check.

And none of the others I'm on have paypal as an option. I don't think paypal works very well for them given the nature of the business, so you might simply be stuck with using a check or direct deposit.

Besides if you're really needing paypal as an option, you're not pushing thru enough volume for them to really consider paypal as an option, and they couldn't really pay you via paypal if you were actually pushing that kind of volume.

C2M does. Also ExclusiveCPA, LeadPub, CPAStorm, and RevenueBoost...but other than C2M those networks are mostly for incent stuff.

pepperjam too

i was just wondering what the advantage to being paid by paypal was? don't they charge you money to get your hands on the cash so to speak?

If you're not doing enough volume with that particular network to get put on weeklies, you're probably gonna get a check, which means you're gonna have to take your ass on down to the bank. F-that. Plus I usually need $ in my paypal for buying services and recurring subscriptions and crap like that.

To answer both your questions this is why I love getting paid via PayPal so much, usually networks are on a net 15 or most are on a net 30 payout structure which for me means the following.

I make some income between March 15th and April 15th, the network sends the checks on May 15th, the checks take another month to reach me so I get them on June 15th.

Now if its an international check the banks sometimes like to hold that money for another 30 days, which means the money I make between March 15th and April 15th don't get into my hands until June 15th or sometimes as long as July 15th.

That's a 3 month wait to get paid.

Now if I get paid via PayPal this is what happens....

The money made from March 15th to April 15th get put into my PayPal account between May 15th and May 18th, it takes 3 days to go from my PayPal account to my bank account.

Other option is getting paid direct deposit which I find a lot of companies WONT do if your outside there country of business, instead they want to do a wire transfer.

Whats the issue with wire transfers?

Not much they are just as quick as PayPal except for the fact that I have to go around giving out all my financial information to everyone and not to mention its a real bitch to get the right routing numbers from my bank.

Hence the reason why I usually only deal with networks which offer an option to be paid via PayPal.

P.S. Another reason why I hate getting checks besides the wait is that I've had several checks NEVER make it to me, I've had to contact the affiliate companies, get them to cancel the check, re-issue another one, wait for that one to get to me and then wonder if this was the check which was canceled, I have to go to there bank have them verify this is the check which is not canceled then finally deposit into my account.

So mix that in and you can tack on another month wait to get paid.

Also I find people don't really understand how PayPal works, lots think if you push large volumes paypal will boot your ass - NOT TRUE.

The fact of the matter is that if you have a new paypal account or have an account with some age but don't do much with it then yes doing large volume will probably get your account banned.

Pretty shitty for most right?

Well if you have an account which has a long standing reputation of doing numbers and a large business reputation (Another words you get 1 point after every payment if there are no returns or arguments after 6 months) then you won't have an issue.

I've personally never had an issue with being paid PayPal......but yes I've had my account in good standing for......well I think over 5 years now.....not exactly sure when I signed up it was a very long time ago.

@Aequitas

thanks for the long reply that makes sense i might have a look at them myself for some online "pin money" so to speak. got to say i'm a little surprised you're not going with wires but hey each to their own.

Pretty much until I have a problem with PayPal I'll stick with them, thats not to say everything I do runs through PayPal......That right there would just be a stupid move because you should absolutely never put all your eggs in any one basket.

But for a few things I enjoy having them as the option.

Actually, checks are SHIT unless you live in the US.

Over here, I have to pay up to 40$ to get an American check cleared, so yeah, wanting to be paid via Paypal does not have to do with "volume".

Sorry, but checks are fucking stone-age.

::emp::

We can pay via PayPal, weeklies depending on volume.

Most of our INTL pubs do choose PayPal for the reason said above, its easier and safer. Checks are most secure in the US, while sometimes they just get lost going to other countries.

Paying via PayPal isn't any more/less difficult than paying via cheque or ACH. So there shouldn't be a minimum volume requirement to get PayPal payment. If a network gives you that as a reason not to switch you over, then they're most likely just making that up as an excuse to hide the real reason (whatever that might be).

To the other poster wondering about paying fees, PayPal supports a payment method (MassPay) where fees are paid by the sender and not by the receiver. If your network is not using MassPay, you should push them to do so.

It's on every check, really not very difficult.

For most banks, the routing numbers on the check will only work for ACH transfers, not the traditional wires. Traditional wires require a different routing number that is on file with the Fed.

With my bank to do a wire transfer I need additional ABA routing numbers, a swift number, route code, and sort number some of which are not numbers on the checks.
