OK, so by now we've all figured out you get an account banned for using the VISA coupon for advertising affiliate stuff, and not a small business...
Which got me thinking (and I'm going to try it this weekend), what if you create a new campaign that is for a small, local business, and use the coupon when you're submitting ads for that one, but you keep the spending limit low, say $5 a day.
So you're still getting the coupon credited to your account, AND you're helping out a small local business. I mean, who here doesn't know someone that runs a small biz, or maybe just has a coffee shop they really like and wouldn't mind throwing a few hundred browsers their way?
I'm going to quickly whack up a fake account tomorrow to test this out for one of the nightclubs I'm still involved in, and once those ads are approved, I'll move on to pimping some offers, and see if they do ok, or if the account gets slapped down again.
I figure conclusive results happen by next Friday.
