Just to confirm since I'm hearing a few different stories.

Is everyone running acai got their whole account suspended?

For those who had their whole account shut down, why not post a follow-up (honestly) answering:

- how many acai campaigns did you re-launch after the first got hit with a QS slap
- were you trying to trick the Adwords system in anyway w/ cloaking or messing with display URL's
- did you contact support about the campaigns?
- did you do anything else not quite kosher?

I'm just curious to see why some accounts got the full shutdown and some did not. My guess is that its the people who kept relaunching new domain/campaigns every 2 days.

No.

Yes.

Aside from targeting keywords the demographic would be interested in, and not necessarilly those related to weight loss, no.

My account isn't shut down though. Just fucked up.

I redid the campaign twice over a 3 week period after my first slap, then paused it, then deleted it before my entire account was shutdown

I didn't cloak at all

I contacted support 3 times

Everything was legit

Wow, you mean they shut down your account eventhough your acai campaign was deleted? This is more serious that I thought.

For those who had your acai campaigns paused, are you still receiving traffic for your other campaigns?

i'm still a little confused. is it the blog style lander that google and others dont like or is it the acai product itself?

i'm seeing the blog style lander in other niches and am wondering if it is worth trying out or if google will ban my acocunt.

Although in a different niche (not dating or acai), I was told specifically by Google that my blog style landers were no good, because "Your website has got only blog content". I have tried a bunch of things to get around it and kiss their asses, but they refuse to give me anything more than 1/10 QS.

Their rep worded it this way: "landing pages with blog content are liable to receive a low quality score"

My acai campaigns on G have been paused for a while now - long before this account-ban raid began.

More or less what I've learned so far is:

 1. Adwords support flat out lies. Multiple individual campaign slaps will fuck your account, but not lead to a ban.
 2. It's not a question of the product or lander style. "User experience". If they think the LP is scammy, they smack it. If they think the product is scammy, they slap it. Since the blog style lander seems linked in their minds with acai+rebills, it alone can get a slap. Or running acai in general(even w/o the blog) gets a slap. Not always with the blog style, but more than it should.

hmm...interesting...

i mean if the blog style lander were legit...they would be actually good sources of info. but the big G dislikes the blog landers...so that's good to know. i am still seeing a TON of blog style landers...i guess those still work on other traffic sources.

good info, appreciated.

so moral of the story...if you're gunna run blog style lander...do it on other traffic sources...i DO wanna try it with my niche (not berries)...but i dont wanna get slapped around by G, facebook, myspace...etc.
