Before I get flamed about promoting an offer or network I want to say this post is about my experience of setting up as a merchant with a US affiliate network and hope it provides other people with some confidence to do the same.
So as a lot of Wickedfire users know I have a service called Getmecontent.com which provides clients with access to their own content writer to build sites , blogs, reviews etc.
We have been growing at a steady rate over the last few months but I always wanted to get our name out to the widest possible audience so I began looking for a network that could help us recruit some affiliates and offer a high quality service at every level.
As I was always an affiliate and have never really worked with any networks as a merchant I expected it to be an uphill struggle and a lot of paperwork / problems before we could get the service of the ground but I can only say I was pleasantly surprised by my experience.
After some research I decide to contact firelead.com which is owned by Mike ( a WF member) and we chatted on AIM about our product and his service. We looked at the benefits for both our companies and after some time we established our service would fit in nicely with his current offerings (including getlandingpages.com)
After we came up with a deal (I must say Mike is really strict and insists on top quality payouts for his customers) we had the paperwork sent over and everything was signed and sealed in less than a week.
Our next issue was setting up the creative / tracking and again Mike offered to help in any way he could with advice on everything from banner creation to programming which really saved us a lot of time and gave me the confidence that this guy really did want us to succeed.
After some consultation with Mikes “people” we had some top quality banners created which in my opinion fit perfectly with the companies’ image and we were ready to go!
Before we went live Mike called me to explain about the launch procedure and within an hour the offer went live and announcements were made to all FireLead affiliates.
A day into the launch we are already seeing sales and I think a big part of that is down to Fireleads customer service commitment (and our big fat $45 payout lol) .
If you have a product or service I highly recommend you take a look at FL as they really are great at what they do!
