AWeber Hacked... All Your Email Are Belong To Spammers



i have'nt had much spam, but its been on full blast the last few days. Now i know why...
 
Yay. Fuck Aweber. Learned my first lesson on emailing co-reg data via them shutting down an account with a quarter million emails and giving no recourse.

They should be liable, the mother fuckers think their so high and mighty.
 
I love how they disabled blog comments on that post. Guess they don't want people blasting them for allowing hackers to grab customer data twice in one year.
 
this might explain some recent complaints to me about the ppc.bz party lists gettin hit with viagra ads and shit
 
no shit? I've had complaints too.. And I thought Aweber was ok, where can I go now?? I'm not paying for spam in my shit. this is fucked up
 
That's a bit shit, are there any good free autoresponders out there that can you can put on shared hosting?
 
Does anyone wanna venture a guess (or knows) how many email addresses they hold and were leaked?
 
I've been unhappy with Aweber's attitude and customer service for a while but this has pushed me over the edge. Looking at permanent alternatives and won't be recommending them any more as an affiliate.

Getting hacked twice makes them look like amateurs.

Any opinions on iContact?
 
I can recommend that you don't use CAMPAIGNER. Unless you want to have your account upgraded to Enterprise level suspiciously without your knowledge or any contact - with no rep assigned to it and eat a couple grand for sending out zero emails.

They were great until they fucked us over - enjoy the bad publicity mother fuckers.

.... in fact - fuck email companies in general. Just fucking do it yourself or pay someone with experience very well for their valuable time and assistance... or rev-share with someone who won't whore your shit.
 
I can't even believe this.. I am a big list owner with aweber... I'm definitely moving providers.. this is the second time with them... what a joke.
